Trichocereus Hybrid 'Super Apricot'
Specimen Size: 1.5" in diameter, with a little sunburn on the top, as shown in the picture.Trichocereus hybrid 'SUPER APRICOT' Has a 5"+ diameter bloom with apricot-yellow inner petals with heavily serrated petal edges, some burnt orange at petal tips. Next row of petals are apricot with a reddish-purple mid stripe, also often serrated petal edges. Outer petals reddish-purple with apricot-yellow near base. Anthers & stigma are yellow to cream colored, greenish throat. Hybridized by Anton Maas.Growth is dark green & columnar in form with very short spines.
Notes; Serrated petal edges can vary from one bloom to next, some have very heavy serrated edges others can be less pronounced-(i will try to list many examples in the catalog from various seasons & bloom sets).
Excellent grower, very clean looking growth with short spines. Can reach 4'+ and up to 6" diameter at base over a few seasons. Typically blooms profusely at 12"+ Tall.
