Trichocereus Hybrid 'Blutsbruder'
Specimen Size: 2" in diameter.
Trichocereus hybrid 'Blutsbrüder' Has a 7" to 8" diameter bloom with reddish inner petals overlayed with a dark magenta-cerise edge, faint dark orange mid stripe, tips of petals are pinched. Next row of petals are same but longer and with a wider streaking dark orange mid stripe, dark orange mid stripe turns dark red on some petal tips. Outer petals are dark-orange to red with darker red edges and petal tips, some cerise on edges but slight. Back petals are narrow and dark red colored with slight dark-orange streaking on some. Back petals are re-curving. Stamens are dark magenta with cream colored anthers and stigma. Growth is thick columnar type growth averaging 6"+ inch diameter to 2'+ ft. tall growth. Long 3/4" average spination with central and radiating spines, golden colored spines on new growth turns lighter yellow to whitish colored as they mature. A cross of AUT 79-VR5 x AUT 79-VR4.
