Trichocereus Hybrid 'Hypnosis'
Specimen Size: 5" tall by 3" in diameter.Trichocereus hybrid 'HYPNOSIS'-(MEX 570-3) has a 5-6"+ diameter bloom with inner petals apricot-orange and a narrow rose-cerise edge. Next row same but more apricot in mid rib. Outer petals are apricot with a very narrow rose-cerise edge. Long petals, medium to narrow width. Back petals are dark apricot with an orange-red edge, more narrow than inner petals, re-curving. Stigma is yellow, pistil is light apricot, stamens clear translucent with a faint cerise overlay, anthers are yellow-cream in color. Hybridized by world famous Echinopsis hybridizer Klaus-Peter Mügge of Germany.
Notes : Color tones can vary on this variety from medium to dark orange to apricot depending on care given; fertilizer and light exposure. Excellent bloomer, blooms profusely at 12" or more in height. Stem growth averages 4" to 5" in diameter and 2'ft.+ tall.
